Runner-up on the list goes to Toronto FC. This growing rivalry hit its peak last year in October when the Reds crushed NYCFC’s play-off hopes and played the spoilers.
NYCFC was already down 2-0 on aggregate, but the second match at home looked bright until Toronto ruined everything. Sebastian Giovinco and his teammates tore apart NYCFC putting up a 5-0 beatdown.
This match hits makes the list for obvious reasons, NYCFC will be looking for revenge and we’ll get to see how they respond to Toronto. Do they come back with a vengeance or is the memory of that defeat still in the back of their minds? Also, how has Toronto bounced back from losing the MLS Cup at their home ground?
