Next on list is the match-up against new expansion team, Atlanta United FC. The newcomers will be strolling into Yankee Stadium for the first time. With neither team knowing much about the other, it should be on NYCFC to impress the league experience on the new side.

On paper Atlanta are starting to look dangerous. Along with Minnesota, Atlanta joins the league and every trip and match will be new in year one. NYCFC knows that feeling well and should use it to put the pressure on the expansion side. It’ll be interesting to see how NYCFC setup to handle AUFC.
