2. Dominate FC Dallas Returns (FC Dallas @ LA Galaxy)

If FC Dallas had ended 2016 as MLS Cup winners, there would be zero question that they were the number one club of the year. FC Dallas finished the regular-season at the top of the Western Conference, took home the Supporters Shield with the best record in the MLS, and clinched the U.S. Open Cup in the process.

The dominate FC Dallas club is looking to charge into 2017 and make the same impact, with all sights set on taking home their first MLS Cup in franchise history. Dallas will begin the season against a club who are no strangers to the MLS Cup: the 5 time champions, the LA Galaxy.

The LA Galaxy enter 2017 without former head-coach of almost a decade Bruce Arena, and many of the star players that have helped keep the club one of the most dominate in MLS. It’s very rare that the LA Galaxy are considered the underdogs, but against FC Dallas, they very well may be.
