The big Belgian won over Galaxy fans with his ability to play physical and strong defense. At times he seemed to be the only thing going right for Los Angeles this year when many of their big names failed. He ended the season with 4 assists, as well as a crucial assist that netted them the win in Leg 1 of the Western Conference Championships against Colorado.
