In their second year as an MLS Club, Orlando City fell just short once again in their pursuit for their first ever MLS Cup playoff appearance. Their efforts put them 4th overall with total fouls committed in the regular season but they finished second when the MLS disciplinary points are taken into account. This is because they finished with a grand total of 73 yellow cards and 4 red cards.

One of these red cards was against Antonio Nocerino against DC United for throwing his elbow into the chest of Patrick Mullins. It is silly red cards like this that brought up Orlando’s MLS disciplinary point total and made them the 4th dirtiest team in MLS this season.
