Frank Rost- New York Red Bulls

Frank Rost signed for the New York Red Bulls in 2011, a time before goalkeeping giant Louis Robles came to town. That season goalkeepers Bouna Condoul and Greg Sutton were both in contention for the starting spot but the signing of Rost as a designated player was supposed to cement that position for the rest of the season. Instead of being the obvious upgrade they were hoping for, Jeremiah Oshan puts him down as “the worst of the bunch.” He only lasted until the end of the season, only seeing 945 minutes of game time. He retired soon after the Red Bulls let him go.
