The Vancouver Whitecaps have a rich history in Western Canada as the club is still owned by the same ownership group that started the franchise. It hasn’t been a bad start for the club’s journey in the MLS. They became the first Canadian club to qualify for the MLS playoffs in 2012 and were Canadian Champions last year. Their best regular season was in 2015 when they finished with a record of 16-5-13.

Camilo was a key player for the Whitecaps in their first three seasons in the league. He scored 39 goals in 92 MLS appearances to lead his side in the goal scoring department. Pedro Morales is a player who has arrived on the scene more recently, as he has produced 26 goals in three seasons for the club.

Jordan Harvey has been a mainstay in the Whitecaps defense. The American defender has been with the club for the entirety of their MLS playing days and is a key component on the back line. Eric Hassli is another player worth noting. His stunning goal in 2011 garnered international attention for the Whitecaps and the MLS. It might just be the greatest goal scored in MLS history.
