The Red Bulls had a horrendous start to their 2016 MLS campaign and looked to be the punching bag of the Eastern Conference this year, losing 6 of their first 7 games. Since then, though, Bradley Wright-Phillips has figured out how to score again and now the team has gone 6 games undefeated going into Week 23 and have only lost 2 of their last 13 games. This sudden 180 degree turn has found the Red Bulls in 3rd place in the East and 4 points behind first place NYCFC. By no means does it look like New York is slowing down either, making a push for their second consecutive Eastern Conference first place finish very likely.
