Final score from BMO Field: Toronto FC 1, Vancouver Whitecaps 1.
T-11: Both teams wrap up warm-ups.
T-0: And with that, both teams enter the pitch to the strains of the MLS Anthem.
The addition of Leonardo may seem like a calculated risk, and is another reason why I am tabbing a draw. See the Bold Predictions for more.

FIRST HALF START: 7:40 P.M. PT/10:40 P.M. ET
1′ – Well, with Leonardo on the back line, this might make things interesting for Diego Fagundez, Patrick Mullins and Kelyn Rowe, who know what it takes to score despite their youth. Let’s see if they can take advantage of the Galaxy’s liability on the back line. We’re underway in this key cross-conference encounter.
2′ – A throw-in for the Revolution. Here’s Lee Nguyen. Leonardo wins that one. Robbie Keane, however, is dispossessed. Free kick for the LA, Leo plays it back, then forward. Keane now. No dice for Gyasi Zardes. Throw-in to the home team. Here is Patrick Mullins.
3′ – Bad layoff by Teal Bunbury, and the Galaxy regain possession. Zardes retreats. Great double-team on Zardes by Jose Goncalves.
4′ – Dan Gargan makes a meal of that sequence, and Bobby Shuttleworth collects. This is the aforementioned Kelyn Rowe.
5′ – That sequence looked good but one too many passes for LA. Excellent composure by the Revs midfield.
6′ – Lee Nguyen, one of New England’s top scorers this season, resets. Goncalves, back to Shuttleworth, who plays it forward.
7′ – One of the things the Galaxy will need to work on the rest of the year…is the offside, as Robbie Keane attests to. Bad header there by Juninho. Restart to New England.
8′ — Nguyen wins a restart. Oh, that was trouble, and Penedo is there to clean up, but the back line did its job, too.
9′ – Back to Penedo. These are the types of games that can be characteristic of a season. We call them turning points.
10′ – GOAL! Los Angeles Galaxy 7 Robbie Keane
Well, there’s one we got wrong. Robbie did score after all.
11′ – Not so fast, Teal, says Penedo. However, the Revs win a free kick from, let’s say…25 yards.
12′ – Yellow card 20 A.J. DeLaGarza
Los Angeles Galaxy
Penedo is shaken up after that collision on the free.
13′ – No dice for Mullins on that play.
14′ – Long ball and a prayer. It’s negative football defined, but sometimes, that’s what it comes down to. Gargan concedes a throw. And Gargan whiffs on winning a duel. Double oops.
15′ — Penedo, Meyer, Gargan, the midfield, and a break. Zardes. Saved by Shuttleworth. Corner.
16′ – Taken short by Ishizaki and that was squandered. Galaxy win possession, though.
17′ – This passing is good, but Ricardo Salazar sees something he doesn’t like and talks to Mullins, telling him to be careful. Throw-in, Revs.
18′ – A.J. Soares wins that race with Gyasi Zardes. Throw-in, Gargan. Ishizaki is held-up, oh what a goal!
GOAL! Los Angeles Galaxy 11 Gyasi Zardes
And once again, this will be no oil change, unless it’s in the next half.
19′ – That’s a good goal right there, but this might be wide-open. Corner, Chris Tierney.
20′ – Cleared by Ishizaki, collected by Penedo.
21′ – Ishizaki again, to Gargan. Backheel to Ishi. And a throw to the Revs. Now things will open up a bit, as the Revs are forced to chase another deficit, as with the past few games out in the field.
22′ – The onus now for the Galaxy is to stay composed and keep working on the basics and building up from there as Gargan resets.
23′ — Keane and Gargan with excellent footwork and agility.
24′ – Ishizaki. Uh oh, Leonardo with the spill. This time, the Galaxy backline are there to cover. Here’s Soares. A throw to the Revs.
25′ – Keane to Husidic. And that was Juninho with the shot. Collected by Shuttleworth. So when the Galaxy are on point with passing, they become a sight for sore eyes.
26′ – Quite frankly, Drake’s giving me sore eyes already with his hosting of the ESPYs. Most overrated Canadian since Justin Bieber. Chase Ruttig, on the other hand, is a cut above those two. Check out his pieces of the MLS Canadian teams on the Plex.
27′ – Zardes. Keane. Gargan. Keane again. A through ball to Zardes is poorly headed. Back to Shuttleworth.
28′ – Here’s a sequence for the Revs that is cleared by Penedo. Throw-in, Tierney. No dice for Nguyen, it’s out. Nguyen does not win that restart. This is trouble…
29′ – Red card 5 A.J. Soares
New England Revolution
30′ – That was not what New England needed. Already down two, now they are down a man. May be one of those nights…
31′ – A bad cross from Gargan. I think he was looking for either Keane or Zardes there. Goal kick, Shuttleworth.
32′ – Well, we said earlie that Leonardo was going to be a liability, and boy, were we right. He concedes a free kick.
33′ – It’s blocked. And Ricardo calls another one against LA…taken short. Strategic play by Lee Nguyen. It’s a corner. Tierney.
34′ – And Penedo with his first mistake of the night. Cleared, the corner. And Penedo resettles things. Great composure from LA.
35′ — If you’re just joining us on this Live Blog, Los Angeles are two goals and a man up. It’s 2-0 Galaxy. Could be three. Kenney Walker now. keane makes a meal of that though, bullet dodged.
36′ – This is trouble for Los Angeles. A penalty has been called.
Red Card 33 Dan Gargan
Los Angeles Galaxy
37′ – Wide open from here on out. 10 vs. 10. Nguyen will take this.
38′ – GOAL! New England Revolution 24 Lee Nguyen
Cool, calm and collected. There’s one we got right. High fives all around.
39′ – The fans got more than they bargained for, it seems.
40′ – Juninho. Nguyen is there to sweep.
41′ – Personally, I believe Nguyen should at least be on the bench at the All-Star Game. He’s in form, he can score, and he exhibits great leadership qualities.
42′ – Jose Goncalves plays it forward. This is good possession here from the visitors.
43′ – Husidic won’t win that race, you can count on that. This is a good midfield ball possession battle. Kelyn Rowe now.
44′ – Ishizaki and Meyer are looking for ideas to move this forward but it doesn’t seem to work out for either of those two.
45′ – Let’s see how many minutes we get here. Four.
45′ + 1′ – Correction: the red is on Dan Gargan for LA.
45′ + 2′ – Corner won for the Galaxy.
45′ + 3′ – And it will be a goal kick. Goncalves got away with that one.
45′ + 4′ – This has been a great, if chippy, first half. 10 vs. 10 when we return in the 2nd.

Seems it’s amateur hour here in Carson, Calif. Let me tell you, this may not be the last we see of the goals tonight. With that Nguyen penalty, we may see more goals before this night is over, especially with this being a 10 vs. 10 match, and maybe less!
SECOND HALF START: 8:45 P.M. PT/11:45 P.M. ET
46′ – Brace yourselves, readers, it’s time for the second half.
Substitution Los Angeles Galaxy
IN 10 Landon Donovan
OUT 6 Baggio Husidic
47′ – Corner conceded by Leonardo…take two. Make that two corners conceded in as many minutes. Taken short and cleared. Free kick awarded to the hosts. Gargan was sent off due to the DOGSO rule, while A.J. Soares hacked his way to an ejection.
48′ – Donovan is in the midfield and in this half, he will need to hold the fort down. Keane. The cross. Yes!
GOAL! Los Angeles Galaxy 11 Gyasi Zardes
There it is, the free oil change. Enjoy, guys.
49′ – This is really gonna get wide open now. It’s 3-1 LA.
50′ – Zardes is now dropping back as a defender, perhaps to add a dimension defensively.
51′ – Yellow card 22 Leonardo
Los Angeles Galaxy
Ricardo Salazar is doing whatever he can to keep New England in this one. #Fact
52′ – Cleared for a goal kick. And we have a player shaken up for New England. Goncalves, the Revs captain.
53′ – Well, Goncalves has had a good shift for the Revs tonight, but it would be a tough loss if he’s not able to see this off.
54′ – Good news: Goncalves is back on the pitch. Here’s Teal Bunbury. Plays it back. Zardes…
55′ – Well, he decided to lay that off. Gyasinho, allegedly, is in no rush for the hat trick. Landon being the influence, it seems. Ishizaki loses that duel.
56′ – A shot from Keane is collected by Shuttleworth. Not a lot on it.
57′ – Substitutions New England Revolution
IN 4 Steve Neumann
27 Jerry Bengtson
OUT 14 Diego Fagundez
7 Patrick Mullins
58′ – If Bruce is smart, he will throw in Kofi Opare late to give the backline some cover. So far, the 10 on the field in white are holding up.
59′ – Zardes tried to lay that off. Revs win possession.
60′ – And Penedo is hurt after that clearance. That was ugly. He gets up though. G’s can ill-afford to lose him.
61′ – Landon Donovan is called for the handball. So this will be another corner for the visitors. Tierney to take.
62′ – Bengtson took a shot there and will need a new kit. Always good to have a spare.
63′ – Andrew Farrell tried his luck from distance. Nope, won’t work. And neither will that long ball for Zardes.
64′ – Lee Nguyen now. Can he do something to make this a goal festival in Carson, even though it already is? Tierney is double-teamed.
65′ – Not the best of effort from Nguyen; ironically he’s been their best player on the pitch tonight.
66′ – Penedo collects, and back come LA. Speculative longball, and here come the Revs. Another collection…
67′ – …another speculative clearance to go with that. Swing and a miss for Keano. Nguyen, trying to give the Revs the win from behind, pun intended. Galaxy dispossess.
68′ – The old-fashioned Mexican wave. Goal kick, Penedo. Okay, I will concede: this is a good crowd.
69′ – Substitution New England Revolution
IN 16 Daigo Kobayashi
OUT 25 Darrius Barnes
70′ – Looks like Marcelo Sarvas will be coming in to provide the cover. Bad shot from Rowe.
71′ – Substitution Los Angeles Galaxy
IN 8 Marcelo Sarvas
OUT 34 Kenney Walker
Time for Bruce to send in some experience to close down the lead.
72′ – Restart to LA. Up two goals, the onus is on them to perhaps build on this lead.
73′ – Ishizaki. Good agility from Sarvas earlier.
74′ – Yellow card 27 Jerry Bengtson
New England Revolution
Free kick from 20 out. Ishizaki to take.
75′ – GOAL! Los Angeles Galaxy 24 Stefan Ishizaki
Off the deflection and in. Good night, good night to all!
76′ – Penedo settles things down. If the Revs go with the high line here, Los Angeles might add a couple more.
77′ – 17,741 in attendance. Good turnout for a midweek game.
78′ – GOAL! Los Angeles Galaxy 7 Robbie Keane
That just sums up this dry spell New England have been having right now.
79′ – Hoffman to come into the fray…
80′ – Substitution Los Angeles Galaxy
IN 30 Chandler Hoffman
OUT19 Juninho
81′ – Ricardo being sympathetic in playing advantage to New England. AWA wrestling tonight, check your local listings. Wait a minute, is that company still active?
82′ – Yellow Card 30 Chandler Hoffman
Los Angeles Galaxy
Time-wasting, of course.
83′ – The Galaxy are winning the last 15 with authority, but there’s still time to go.
84′ – Farrell clears that chance for Keane. A free kick now, from 25 away. Tierney will take this. There’s the spray. Not a good free.
85′ – Zardes. And the delay from Keane is not the best of delays. They shall work on that when they hit the road and face Sporting Kansas City. Back to Penedo.
86′ – Fans are already heading for the exits, having seen quite enough of this wild goal festival.
87′ – Rowe with the shot and that just skips over the bar. The rumbling of the bleachers…the fans are having fun. Farrell wins a throw.
88′ – Good composure in the back from LA.
89′ – Keane elects to slow things down. Heartbrrrrrreak for Chandler Hoffman, as Shuttleworth says, not so fast, @chandala!
90′ – Let’s see how many minutes. Shouldn’t be much…no stoppage time! That’s it!
