Goalkeeper
Bill Hamid (DC United)
The DC United goalkeeper posted his second shutout of the season and made four saves in a 1-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Defenders
Kortne Ford (Colorado Rapids)
Ford played an instrumental part in the Rapids 1-0 shutout against Sporting Kansas City. The Colorado native scored the lone goal of the match and also contributed defensively to help with the clean sheet result.

Chad Marshall (Seattle Sounders)
The veteran centre-back helped guide the Sounders to their second consecutive clean sheet result as he continues to be a big presence defensively for the defending MLS champions.
Francisco Calvo (Minnesota United)
Calvo has helped anchor the Minnesota defense against Orlando City as the captain was very active defensively in the 1-0 clean sheet victory on Saturday.
Brandon Vincent (Chicago Fire)
The young left-back is having a fantastic sophomore season as he has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for the third consecutive week. He provided an assist in the Fire’s win over FC Dallas last week and continues to impress with his presence on the pitch.
Midfielders
Romain Alessandrini (LA Galaxy)
The French midfielder had an assist in the Galaxy’s Cali Clasico victory over the San Jose Earthquakes. In his last four appearances, Alessandrini has four assists.
Joao Pedro (LA Galaxy)
Another one of the Galaxy’s offseason signings had a terrific match for the California club over the weekend. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first every MLS goal in the Galaxy’s 4-2 win.
Sunny (Real Salt Lake)
It was a sterling effort from the Real Salt Lake midfielder against the Philadelphia Union. Sunny shut down the Union midfield and disrupted their attack from going forward on multiple occasions with four interceptions.
Victor Vazquez (Toronto FC)
A two-goal performance against the Columbus Crew was Vazquez’s first brace in the MLS. He was an instrumental part of their 5-0 win over the Crew.

Miguel Almiron (Atlanta United)
For the second consecutive week, Almiron was named to the team of the week. His two-goal performance against New York City FC helped Atlanta to a 3-1 victory. The Paraguayan has scored five goals in his last two appearances.

Forward
Giovani dos Santos (LA Galaxy)
Two goals from dos Santos against the Earthquakes see’s him get the nod for the top forward of the week. He now has a total of six goals in 2017.
