Goals did not come often in week 13 of the Major League Soccer season as only 20 goals were scored.  Here are the top five from this past week’s MLS action.

Lovely through balls, free kicks, and first-time hits are all included in this week’s edition of the top goals from the MLS.

David Accam (Chicago Fire)

Accam has been on Fire lately (pun intended), the striker has scored six goals in his last seven appearances and scored the match-winner against FC Dallas last Thursday with this fine goal.

Víctor Vázquez (Toronto FC)

The Spanish midfielder led the way for Toronto FC on Friday night, scoring a brace, which included this splendid free kick that snuck past the wall to beat the goalkeeper.

Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)

A nice first-time finish from Wondolowski gets him in this week’s edition of the top goals. This was his sixth goal in 14 appearances this season.

Hector Villalba (Atlanta United)

This first half goal was part of Atlanta’s 3-1 win over New York City FC, Villalba tucks home this curling effort to score his fifth goal of the season.

Jack Harrison (New York City FC)

The English midfield record his fifth goal of the season to better his mark from 2016 where he scored four goals during the course of NYCFC’s campaign. Harrison is off to a stellar start in his sophomore season in the MLS.

Christian Ramirez (Minnesota United)

The through ball from Johan Venegas is one of the assists of the season as Ramirez gets in behind the Orlando City defense to score what would prove to be the match-winning goal.

Week 13 Winner

The winner this week is Vazquez, his free kick was perfectly placed and was an intelligent play from the Toronto midfielder.
