There are plenty of familiar faces in this week’s edition of the Major League Soccer Goal of the Week. Here are the top five goals from week 10 of the 2017 MLS season.
Romell Quioto (Houston Dynamo)
After scoring in the first three matches of the season, Romell Quioto slowed down in his goal production, but this weekend he was back on the score sheet with a perfect curling effort into the right corner of the net.

Alberth Elis (Houston Dynamo)
Alberth Elis has been in fine form as of late, scoring in three of his last four appearances for the Houston Dynamo. His low driven shot beats the keeper near post as he scores a fantastic individual goal, which was one of four goals scored by the Dynamo in their 4-0 win over Orlando City.

Federico Higuain (Columbus Crew)
For the second straight week, Higuain is a goal of the week nominee. The Argentine’s first time hit is placed perfectly over the goalkeeper’s head.

David Villa (New York City FC)
David Villa is taking flight for NYCFC as the striker has scored four straight appearances for his club. He curls this shot off the inside of the post and in as NYCFC would go on to win 3-1 against Atlanta United.

Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)
It was a big night for Chris Wondolowski against the Portland Timbers, the American striker scored tow goals to lead the San Jose Earthquakes to a 3-0 win. Additionally, he reached the 125 career goal mark and scored his first brace of the season to bring his total to four goals in 10 appearances.
