The LA Galaxy are set to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps at the StubHub Center as there should be plenty of fireworks for this Fourth of July MLS match.

In Week 17 of MLS play, the LA Galaxy will face off against the Vancouver Whitecaps in a match that takes place on the Fourth of July. This will be a home game for the Galaxy and kick-off is set for 10:30 p.m. EST, 7:30 PST. You can watch the game on MLS Live as well as regional TV spots in LA and Vancouver.

1. Overall Record:

LA Galaxy:

The Galaxy are currently 5-3-8 on the season with a total of 23 points. They are in the heat of the playoff race in the west as LA are in the sixth spot in the standings. The team is 4-0-4 at home as they have yet to lose at the StubHub Center this season.

Vancouver Whitecaps:

The Whitecaps are 7-7-3 this Major League Soccer season with a total of 24 points. Vancouver is the fourth in the Western Conference as they are just the Portland Timbers and the LA Galaxy. They are 3-5-0 away from BC Palace this season.

2. Last Match:

This is the second match between the two clubs this season as they previously met on April 2nd in Vancouver. That game ended in a scoreless draw as both teams came away with a point in that one. Hopefully there is more of an offensive threat in this game as opposed to the last time out.

3. Current Form:

LA Galaxy:

Los Angeles is 0-2-4 in their previous six matches in MLS play. They are winless in their last seven games and have dropped some crucial point due to allowing some late goals. They will be looking to get back in the win column in this one.

Vancouver Whitecaps:

The Whitecaps are 2-3-1 in their last six games and they are coming off of a win over the Philadelphia Union in their last MLS match. They have also recently defeated Toronto FC in the Canadian Championship. They should be full of confidence as they travel to the StubHub Center.

4. Leading Players:
