Oh, what a predicament Wilmer Cabrera’s Chivas USA are in. With six straight dropped on the trot and an uncertain future awaiting the Goats, they head into Wednesday night’s match with Sigi Schmid’s Seattle Sounders on the make. Literally. Seattle are coming off a tough 1-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids but should have an easier go at things in this contest.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS LIVE. Here are 10 Bold Predictions for Wednesday night’s match between Chivas USA and the Seattle Sounders.

1. No goals for Chivas USA

This will be a game where Chivas USA will be outclassed as usual. Don’t expect a lot of shots, either, from this sorry ball club. The MLS Multiplex boldly predicts for no goals from Chivas USA against Seattle.

2. At least 40 fouls and three cards

It won’t be as intense as the match between Chivas and the Los Angeles Galaxy. but the fouls and cards will be there. The Plex is calling for at least 40 fouls and three cards.

3. Dan Kennedy with at least five saves

It’s going to be a big night for Dan Kennedy, who will have at least five saves on Wednesday against the Seattle Sounders. Kennedy deserves a better team than this. He’s a great goalkeeper in Major League Soccer, but he absolutely cannot do it alone.

4. Stefan Frei with under five saves

On the other hand, Sounders netminder Stefan Frei will take it easy on Wednesday against Chivas. He won’t have to make a lot of saves. The MLS Multiplex boldly predicts under five saves for Frei.

5. Clint Dempsey with a brace

Clint Dempsey is Seattle’s top goalscorer with 11 goals to his credit. Against Chivas USA, watch for Dempsey to record at least a brace, as he will be running rings around the Chivas defense, who won’t have Carlos Bocanegra available despite Tony Lochhead’s suspension being done and dusted.

6. Obafemi Martins with a goal and an assist

This season, Obafemi Martins has 10 goals and nine assists and is, by far, the top provider on the Seattle Sounders first team. The Plex calls for at least one goal and one assist to Martins against Chivas USA.

7. Look out for Chad Barrett

Chad Barrett has been a boon for the Sounders’s goalscoring cause, with seven goals to his credit. Barrett can finish. He’s in form, and he will get on goal on Wednesday against Chivas.

8. Lamar Neagle gets in on goal

Lamar Neagle has five goals this season for the Seattle Sounders and poses another threat to the Chivas defense. Neagle will add to his tally and make it six goals for the year against one of the worst teams in the league.

9. Gonzalo Pineda with two assists

Gonzalo Pineda has seven assists this season and has done his share of providing for Seattle’s cause. He’s not going to get on the scoresheet—he only has three goals this season—but he will get two assists on Wednesday.

10. No refunds for Chivas USA fans as Seattle roll

We’ll give you a twofer in this final bold prediction. First off, Seattle roll to an easy victory over Chivas USA. Secondly, the Chivas USA fans who are brave enough to come on down to StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. will not get any refunds for showing up to see this beatdown. Of course, if you’re from the Emerald City Supporters, just sit back and enjoy.
