3. Konrad de la Fuente kills it at the U-20 Level

Konrad de la Fuente, a 17-year-old Barcelona academy player, made his debut for Barcelona B this December against Valencia in Spain’s third division.

He has quietly been making progress in Barcelona’s famed academy system, La Masia, over the past year, making more and more appearances in Barcelona B. I don’t want a hype-train to start for a kid who’s barely old enough to drive, but it is promising to see the steady progress Konrad has shown over in Spain.

At some point over the next year, expect de la Fuente to get a look with the U-20s and hopefully he can use such an opportunity as a spring-board such as current players Josh Sargent and Timothy Weah have more recently.
