Lautaro Acosta

Lautaro Acosta is a 29-year-old Argentine international who plays for Lanus in the Argentine Primera División. in his 20 appearances, Acosta has scored five goals and picked up three assists. He typically plays as a left winger, though he can play on the right as well as the number nine.

Rarely caught offside, Acosta is a constant threat on the wing but his pace is something many players can’t match. We have seen how a player with a lot of pace can open apart MLS sides, specifically last season when Jordan Morris was in form. Acosta’s pace goes hand in hand with his ability and confidence on the ball. He looks very similar to current Portland Timber designated player Sebastian Blanco, who has started his MLS career extremely well.
