The New York Red  Bulls finished first in the Eastern Conference standings for the second year in a row but once again fell flat as they were knocked out in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals at the hands of the Montreal Impact. The Red Bulls, though, found themselves committing the 5th most fouls this regular season with 450. They also finished 4th overall in the MLS disciplinary point totals with 673, 14 points above the Montreal Impact.

The Red Bulls picked up 4 red cards during the regular season, one of which came for Gonzalo Veron against Toronto FC after a hard stomp on Delgado in a 3-0 victory over the Canadian team. You can watch the stomp right here.
