Nelson Valdez- Seattle Sounders

Nelson Valdez signed with Seattle in the summer of 2015 to bring in some fire power with the injury to Obafemi Martins. Before coming to the Emerald City, Valdez hopped around Europe a bit, ending up with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 1 goal in 10 appearances. Though he is a work horse, Valdez has yet to live up to the price tag and expectations of Sounders fans. He has been in Seattle for a little more than a year now and has appeared in 28 MLS games with 13 starts. In that time, Valdez has scored only 1 goal and provided 2 assists. His 1 goal came on his debut in a 4-0 win over Orlando City.
