There were multiple impressive individual efforts this weekend in Major League Soccer as a total of 44 goals were scored over the course of the week.

Here are the top goals from MLS week 11.

Justin Meram (Columbus Crew)

It was a stellar performance from Meram on Saturday as the longtime Crew midfielder recorded his first ever hat-trick in the MLS. This well-placed finish would be his first of the match as the Crew would go on to win 3-2 thanks to Meram’s contribution.

Kaka (Orlando City)

The control and finish by Kaka are world class. Since returning from injury, the Brazilian has scored in three of his last four appearances.

Haris Medunjanin (Philadelphia Union)

This hit from outside the 18 is too hot to handle for Bill Hamid as Medunjanin scores his first goal for the Union.

Fafa Picault (Philadelphia Union)

The first MLS goal in his career is a beauty from Picault as he curls in this shot from outside the 18.

Fabian Herbers (Philadephia Union)

This is an absolutely fantastic first time hit from Herbers. The German caps off a night that was full of world-class goals from the Union.

Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders)

Dempsey produces a fine finish to record his fourth goal of the season. This was his 63rd career MLS goal.

Julian Gressel (Atlanta United)

Gressel scores his first career MLS goal as the rookie produces a fantastic finish to open the scoring.

Romain Alessandrini (LA Galaxy)

Whether he meant to do this or not, Alessandrini curls in this low driven free-kick to score the first of two goals he produced in the Galaxy’s 3-1 win over the New York Red Bulls.

The Winner is….

Herbers gets the goal of the week honors this week. His pinpoint first time hit was a thing of beauty and is deserving of the accolade.
